When you think about circuits, adorable and huggable doesn’t usually come to mind. However, it did this past weekend at Makerspace @ The Tech’s soft circuit plush toy workshop.
Participants learned to create soft circuits using LEDs and and conductive thread. They sewed their their LEDs into a parallel circuit and connected them to a coin cell battery pack.
Then, they their learned how turn their soft circuits into light-up stuffed creatures.
Guests came up with lots of original designs, so every Maker spirit animal was different.
Thank you for everyone who signed up for the workshop! For more information about workshops and other upcoming events, visit What's New at The Tech.
